That’s a great idea. I’d have to find a formula to calculate the calories burned. I’m sure that exists since every treadmill has that. Thanks for the suggestion!

Add GPS functionality.
I'd love to know how far I have travelled during my session, how fast I have been running/walking and perhaps to see the route I've taken. I usually use Trails for this stuff but obviously I can't have both applications running at once. Maybe you could incorporate some of the ideas from Trails so that at the end of the session we can see our distances, speeds and route?

Ability to change times.
I'm on a slightly different program. For instance, it starts with Run 1 min, walk 2 min. Then goes to run 1.5min, walk 1.5min.

This really calls for a separate app and it’s something I’m thinking about. I would like to create an app where you can create your own program and set intervals. I’m planning to start working on it as soon as I get a bit more free time.

a way to monitor speed
I use run keeper free, but I am unable to use both programs at the same time. I assume this works off of the gps in Iphone. If you could intergrate this feature into c25k it would help alot

That’s something I’ve been working on actually. It turns out calculating the speed based on GPS readings is not trivial, especially for low speeds such as walking or running. I have a prototype working, but I want to make sure I get the best posible accuracy before I release it.

add the ability to download the workout to a Shuffle.
I don't relish the idea of carrying the iPhone for the whole workout. It would be great if you could upload a particular day's workout to another, smaller iPod, such as a Shuffle with the clip - totally made for working out!

Maybe a pedometer
Would it be possible to have a Pedometer, that uses the motion sensors, and could maybe even Estimate the actual distance run/walked in your workout

I’m not sure how accurate that would be. I’m currently experimenting with calculating speed based on GPS readings.

don't stop the music during talking
i liked it better in the old versions when the music didn't completely stop when the voice announced when it was time to walk or run.

Make a version for Blackberry Storm
Please consider making a version of this app (or one that allows you to create custom intervals) for Blackberry as well.

Rotate display
I'd like to be able to rotate the display to the right so that I can see it while the iPhone is in the jogging case which is strapped to my upper arm.

Distance, Calorie, and Run Log
I would like to be able to keep track of the distance that I went, the calories and a log of how I felt during the run.
I am guessing that you would need to have a couple of options, whether running on a treadmill, or track, street, or even trails.
The log would be great to be able to export as well, but that may be a bit difficult. I would just like to have a diary of how the run went, but not have to write it all down.

Make me look smarter
Fix the name of the link on Facebook which currently says, "Get in shape with the best begginer's running plan". That would be beginner's.

Add the option of using a female voice
Would it be possible to have the option in the app to select a male or female voice?

Keep time running in background
I know iPhone apps can't be run in the background, but every once in a while I need to exit the application during a run, or accidentally exit the application. When I come back, it is paused where it was when I exited. It would be nice if there was an option to have it recalculate where I should be in the workout based on the time the workout was started or last paused.

make it compatible with radio apps
I love the C25K app... but I'd love it more if it could run with my Pandora app. MP3 playlists are great, but I get tired of the same music. Listening to Pandora radio while running is perfect because it makes each run new and different.

Is there a way to trigger the Nike plus verbal status?
It would be nice to have a button to trigger the Nike Plus verbal status. If you just use the Nike Plus app, when you click the Home button, the program provides you with your verbal status (pace, distance, time, etc)
